Setting goals is an important step in making change. Figuring out where you are currently, and where you desire to be, makes setting things in motion easier. Thinking about your goals is a fantastic start, but writing them down is powerful! Dr. A says, "Whether it’s to drink more water, lose 5 pounds or 50 pounds, exercise every day, or take the stairs instead of the elevator, writing down what you want to achieve can be a powerful tool in reaching these goals. Seeing it on paper and reminding yourself every day of what you want to achieve can be the difference between making the changes you want in your life, or staying where you are."
Being able to go back and look at the goals that you wrote down is an effective way to measure your journey as well. When we write specific goals, we are able to evaluate how far we've come and how close we are to accomplishing them. I encourage you to put genuine time and thought into what you want to accomplish and how you are going to get there, and then write it down!
