Have you ever wondered why some people seem to stay young while others are aging quickly?
Research has shown that for many the key is to staying curious, not only keeping your body in shape but also your mind. It’s about your passion to learn new things and always pushing yourself out of your comfort zone or routine. That curiosity may actually slow the physical aging.
Routines are great for our daily life, although sometimes it’s good for us to step out of our comfort zone/routine and try something new. When was the last time you stepped out of your routine because you were curious about trying something new?
Can you remember the last time you were curious about a new kind of food, or a new restaurant? Or maybe just a new dish at your favorite place? You will be amazed at what you can find out there. Pull up the approved dishes for going out to eat and find something you normally wouldn’t gravitate toward.
Cooking! Is there a dish you have been curious about attempting to make on the approved Lean and Green meals? Maybe a new vegetable that you have been passing by at the grocery store. Let your curiosity take over, pick up that vegetable and find a recipe for a new Lean and Green meal to add to your raptor.
We can even get in a rut with our workouts. When was the last time you were curious about taking a new class at your gym? What about a new walking or running trail? Or even find a friend that does a different kind of workout then you and join them.
Maybe you have something you have been curious about, but just haven’t got around to trying it. Let your curiosity loose and try something new! Maybe you saw a cooking class that you were curious about. A book club. Possibly a new meet up or hobby.
Is there a big step you have been wanting to take in your career? Are you curious about that next level/position in your job? Possibly it’s a huge step by even changing careers or taking collage classes? What is it that is holding you back? What classes would you need to take?
